Request for Qualifications for Professional Engineering Services City of Shelbyville - Phase 10 Bike Path Overview The City of Shelbyville is soliciting for qualifications from professional engineering firms for the Phase II (preliminary design engineering) and Phase III (construction engineering) for the City of Shelbyville, Phase 10 Bike Path project. Your firm is invited to submit your Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) to become eligible to provide these services. Project Location Phase 10 bike path is located along IL Route 16 in the City's West Business District between the School Campus to the Business Park. Preliminary Scope of Services This solicitation will select an IDOT prequalified engineering firm to perform Phase II (preliminary design engineering) and Phase III (construction engineering) for the Phase 10 Bike Path project. The City currently has been approved for federal Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program funds for the Phase II design engineering, construction and Phase III construction engineering. Conflict of Interest City of Shelbyville procedures require consultants to submit a disclosure statement with their procedures. City of Shelbyville will use the IDOT BDE DIGS 2 Template as their conflict of interest form. Suspension and Debarment Shelbyville procedures require verification of suspension and debarment actions to ensure the eligibility of firms listed and selected for projects. City of Shelbyville will use IDOT's Chief Procurement Office (CPO) website to verify suspension and debarment. Requirements for Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) SOQs will be based on the engineering firms experience, staff capabilities, workload capacity, past performance and local presence. SOQs longer than six (6) pages (not including IDOT BDE DISC 2) will not be accepted. Presentations and interviews are not anticipated as this time.
