Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to resurface and stripe 2.45 miles of existing asphalt road surface according to the details in the specifications. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond, made payable to the City of Douglas in the amount of at least five (5) percent of the lump sum bid. Separate contract Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred (100) percent of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts. he Owner further reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
