Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ivanhoe, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project provides for roadway improvements on Lakewood Drive, Sherwood Forest Drive and Sherwood Forest Drive West. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing unsuitable roadway subgrade and replacing with select structural fill, pulver-mixing existing pavement materials into the subgrade and chemically treating the pulver-mixed materials, construction of aggregate base, and construction of hot-mix asphalt or oil sand surface course. Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Ivanhoe; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. City of Ivanhoe reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Ivanhoe for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidders qualifications prior to the contract award. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. Project No. CF215020
