The City of Richmond is soliciting bids from qualified bidders with demonstrated experience providing general contracting service solicited by this IFB for the Department of Public Works. The City of Richmond, Virginia seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Government Road Slope Stability Repair project. The services include clearing and grubbing, asphalt placement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, erosion and sediment control, guardrail, pavement marking, water main, water service lines, deep soil mixing, and earthwork. The City developed this Project to correct and repair the unforeseen, significant and ongoing slope and roadway failure along Government Road near the intersection of E Grace Street in the City of Richmond. The Work involves constructing the segment of Government Road and the Church Hill Dog Park entrance impacted by the slope failure. The goal is to reopen the closed portion of Government Road and the Church Hill Dog Park entrance and build a five-foot wide sidewalk along the south side of Government Road.
