The City Council subsequently approved a Bond Implementation Plan that more clearly lists and details the proposed improvements at each park facility or government property. Included in the City of Miami Gardens Bond Implementation Plan is the further development of Lester Brown Park, 19405 NW 32nd Ave, Miami Gardens, FL 33056. The City of Miami Gardens is requesting sealed proposals from qualified Contractor(s) to provide overall park improvements at Lester Brown Park. Contractor must have previous experience in the services requested for the Lester Brown Park Improvements project delivery and must be licensed to engage in contracting under FSS 489.119. Lester Brown Park was recently improved with a new playground and new artificial turf football field. The scope of services included in this proposal is the remaining park improvement, which includes a new 3,000 sf community building with an office, multipurpose room, restrooms, locker rooms, and storage. Additionally, the scope includes site improvements, including but not limited to site work, new/renovated lit walking trail, renovation and expansion of parking lot, landscaping, video surveillance system, and perimeter fencing. Additional project components include earthwork, drainage, utilities, lighting, paving and hardscape, irrigation, and any other technical discipline required to complete the intended scope.
