The Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary for construction of approx. 380 LF of 16-inch DIP water main, 800 LF of 12-inch DIP water main, 400 LF of 2-inch water main, 80 LF of 24-inch steel casing (bored), 2 fire hydrants, and 2 service re-connections; all with related, valves, fittings, appurtenances, clearing, erosion control, traffic control, flushing, hydrostatic testing, and disinfection, site restoration and grassing, pavement replacement, clean-up, and other incidentals required to complete the work. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, or other security authorized by law, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids, during which time the bids shall remain open and not subject to withdrawal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all technicalities or informalities. If an award is made, the award will be made to the responsible, qualified Bidder providing the lowest, responsive Total Bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
