Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Walkersville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 10, 2023, this project was awarded to Wastler and Son, Inc in the amount of 1,144,396.60. The principal features of work to be performed under this contract include, but are not limited to, reconstruction of street pavement using hot mix asphalt over cement-treated subgrade, replacement of concrete curb and gutter, replacement of concrete sidewalk, replacement and upgrade of sidewalk ramps, adjustment of utilities to be compatible with new surface elevations, pavement markings, and all ancillary work to complete the project . The project limits and construction items are shown on the Contract Drawings. Coordination of and installation shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. The electronic .pdf Contract Documents will permit the bidder to take the Contract Documents to the print shop of their choice for printing. For the purposes of bidding, all Contract Documents used for bidding, must be printed in the size and resolution advertised.
