The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrades & Improvements 2017 which includes, but is not limited to, mobilization, bonds and insurance, miscellaneous site work, blowers and MCC building improvements with 4 centrifugal blowers, CMU building, disinfection equipment, piping, valves, temporary bypass blower, piping, and electrical system, MCC and controls, electrical work including conduit and wire, and all else necessary for a complete functional blower, chemical and MCC system. The project is located at 4103 Peachfield Circle, Houston TX 77014 (Harris County Key Map 371-F) The bidder shall submit either a two percent 2% certified or cashiers check or a five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. ATTENTION: Pursuant to Texas Government Code 2252.908, you must provide Northwest Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 21 (the "District") with a printed, executed and notarized original of a completed Certificate of Interested Parties form (Form 1295) in the sealed bid submittal. Failure to do so will result In the District's inability to execute the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 calendar days from the date bids are open. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a loan or grant from the Texas Water Development Board, and a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Neither the State of Texas, or U.S. EPA nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees are or will be a party to this Invitation for Bids or any resulting contract.
