Site work for a water / sewer project in Riverside, California. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project proposes to modify the existing 14th Street underpass storm drain pump station and install an emergency portable pump in order to assist with the main pump system to alleviate stormwater inundation at the underpass during a storm event. The work includes the addition of a retaining wall, concrete flat work, driveway, curb, gutter, and underground piping. This project is needed to provide alleviation of flooding at the 14th street underpass, thus allowing traffic and emergency responses to use 14th street instead of diverting traffic around the area. Project is included in the City of Riverside's FY 2022 - 2027 CIP. As of December 9, 2022, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. A timeline for construction has not been determined, however the project is anticipated to be completed in June 2023.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
