Renovation of a municipal facility in Southington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The work consists of installing a new boiler at Town Hall as indicated on the drawings. The Town of Southington hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any con- tract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afford- ed full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and that they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex, in consideration for this award. All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the Contractor shall employ, as far as possible, such methods and means in the carrying out of this work as will not cause interruption or interference with any other contractor. Bid security in the form of a Surety Company Bond, on form furnished by the Town of Southington for 5% of the amount of the bid, must accompany each proposal. The Town of Southington reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
