Site work and renovation of a multi-residential development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade, 16-unit multi-residential development.
The existing three-storey residential building will be converted into 16 units compromised of a mix of three-bedroom, two-bedroom, and one-bedroom units set at 30% of tenants' incomes. The building will also include spaces for tenant programming, a secure children's play space and staff offices. This will create safe, supportive and culturally-appropriate transitional housing units for women existing violence. TIMELINE: Owner has received funding through the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) through its Rapid Housing Initiative to purchase & refurbish the property at 490 Victor St. Construction is underway. ALL TRADES SECURED. NO CONTACT PLEASE. *The WCWRC’s project has been awarded $4.3 million from CMHC’s Rapid Housing Initiative, via the City of Winnipeg’s municipal program funding allocation, with additional bridge financing available through Assiniboine Credit Union. *Absolutely no inquiries will be accepted at this time.
