Renovation of a mixed-use development in San Carlos, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and parking garage.

A Class C-33 Contractor's License is required for this work. Contractors bidding with a Class-B Contractor's License will be deemed non-responsible and non-responsive. Work will be done and payments will be made in accordance with provisions more particularly described in the plans and specifications. The scope of work generally includes the painting and anti-graffiti coating application of the all interior vertical walls, columns and parking stops of the first and second level of the Wheeler Plaza Parking Garage, removal of white reflective tape prior to painting, removal and re-installation of all signs of the Wheeler Plaza Parking Garage located at 657 Walnut Street. Bids are required for the entire work described herein in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The Engineer's Estimate is between $100,000 and $150,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Bids must be accompanied by a Proposal guarantee amounting to ten (10%) percent of the bid as described in the specifications. Said guarantee shall be forfeited to the City in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within fifteen days after written notice that the contract has been awarded to the Contractor (1) enter into a contract with the City and (2) furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as described in the specifications. The City Council reserves the privilege of rejecting any and all proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposals or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their proposal for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date set for opening of proposals. The new question cut-off date and time are December 13, 2021 at 5:00 p.m
