Renovation of an educational facility in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
For Phase 2 - Partial Roof Replacement at the Swampscott Middle School Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Project consists of: Replacement of membrane roofing at Roof Areas 'M' & 'N' at the Swampscott Middle School Roof as shown on the drawings including new roof insulation, modified bitumen high performance built-up roof system, fascia and flashing, and miscellaneous repairs. The work is estimated to cost $ 780,000.00 At all flat roof levels indicated on the plan, remove and dispose existing roofing assemblies, including but not limited to, asbestos-containing roofing where indicated, fully adhered EPDM membrane; multiple layers of polyisocyanurate rigid insulation; fiberboard; BUR; flashings; wood blocking; cant strips; anchors; roof drain assemblies; etc. Strip entire roofing assemblies down to existing metal or concrete decks. Remove and dispose of all rooftop debris prior to commencing work. b. Supply and install new roof insulation, modified bitumen high performance built-up roof system in cold process, fascia and flashing, miscellaneous caulking and damproofing necessary to satisfactorily complete the entire work as shown on the drawings. c. Replacement of two (2) existing skylights as shown on the drawings.
