Renovation of a residential development in Swampscott, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Swampscott Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Congregate 689-1 Development for the Swampscott Housing Authority in Swampscott Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Nilsson + Siden Associates, Inc. The Project consists of: BASE BID: Renovate existing first floor kitchen to Chapter 45 MAAB Group 2b requirements. ALTERNATE NO.1: Renovate existing first floor accessible bathroom to Chapter 44 MAAB Group 2b requirements. The work is estimated to cost $105,000 including all alternates Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Swampscott Housing Authority. The existing building is located at 12 Ryan Place in Swampscott, MA and will be available for inspection at 11:00am on Wednesday, February Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Contract Documents shall make a written request to the Architect. The Architect will answer such requests if received seven (7) calendar days before the date for receipt of the bids
