Site work for a mixed-use development in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Liquidated damages shall be $1000.00 per calendar day. Seventy-Five percent (75%) of the total contract value shall be completed by December 22, 2022. All remaining work shall be completed by July 15, 2023 For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached electronically of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. F. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities, if it is deemed in the public interest to do so.
