Site work for a civil project in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
This City of Davenport is seeking bids from qualified contractors for permanent seeding and three years of operation and establishment for the Silver Creek stabilization project. This is the final phase of the project with all other work having been completed including grading and temporary seeding. The Silver Creek stabilization project was a stream bank stabilization and prairie reconstruction project. Approximately 1,000 LF on the West Branch of Silver Creek, just west of Wisconsin was stabilized through excavation and rock riffle installation. There was an existing culvert extension and a new culvert installation. HMA access and driveway areas were also included. Approximately 18 acres of ag land was converted into native prairie; grading for access paths/firebreaks occurred in the prairie area prior to seeding.
