The Pre-bid meeting will be followed by a tour of the project area inside the Western Service Center. Following this tour, anyone interested can travel to Hastings, MN to tour the project area inside the Judicial Center. This pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, however this will be the only available time to tour the projects areas. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Request for Bid - Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the opening of bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on November 30, 2021 and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Prevailing wages are required on this project. CNH Architects is the design consultant on this project.
