The proposed work consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the RTU Replacement project as described in the Bid Documents. Proposals shall be addressed to 45 North Road, Niles, OH 44446; Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and be clearly marked as BID FOR: RTU Replacement. All bid proposals shall be submitted in duplicate. Questions are to be submitted electronically to Martin Zakes of GPD Group at mzakes@gpdgroup.com, please use "TCBDD RFI" in the subject line, such check or bid bond shall be made payable to Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disability and to be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the contract in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the complete work, said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and shall be underwritten by a surety that is listed on the most current Department of the Treasury Circular 570, "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds". All bids shall be submitted on special blank forms furnished by the Architect, and shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond conforming to Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code. Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bids which it deems favorable. No bids may be withdrawn, after the schedule closing time for the receipt of bids, for at least sixty (60) days. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. HVAC work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: a. Replacement of existing roof top mechanical units b. Limited new mechanical equipment and distribution as indicated on drawings 2. Electrical work includes, but in not necessarily limited to: a. Work ancillary to installation of new roof top units b. Control work and wiring as described on drawings. 3. Structural modifications a.
