Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Winter Haven, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Wastewater Treatment Plant #3 Capital Improvement program for the five-year planning will address: WWTP#3 is nearing its permitted capacity and will require expansion to accommodate future growth. Planned expansion fro 7.5 MGD to 12.0MGD is expected. Process Aeration and West Digestor Aeration improvements are scheduled to produce the required effluent treatment for the process of the sewage. Air Basin #2 Interior Painting. The basins are in an extremely abrasive environment and routine maintenance is required to preserve the infrastructure. With the development of the ILC to the south of WWTP #3 , rerouting of the existing Pollard Road and existing utilities are required. As of July 31, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase. The owner plan to award a design/build firm by October 2024 with design beginning shortly after that. Construction is anticipated approximately one year after design begins. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
