Renovation of an educational facility in Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Q&A (RFI) Due Date and Time 11/30/2021 2:00PM Work included is all electrical work, controls, pipes, units, insulation, and valves. Insulate piping where the insulation has been removed. Insulation on fittings shall be fiberglass with premolded jacket. Provide with a seven-day programmable electronic thermostat reconnecting to the existing control and a new duct. Reconnect power condensate drain ducts on supply and return reinulate the ducts if insulations were moved or damaged. Run new power to CU-2 from existing panne, reconnect power. Run new power to CU-1 from existing panel, reconnect power Train or York are approved equal for condensing units and air handling units. Disconnect power collect existing R 22. Disconnect existing supply and return ref pipes, remove existing 5 ton outdoor York condensing unit with all associated piping and replace with new unit The construction is planned to start: April 1st 2022 Construction duration: Six Months The University reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid; and to waive any informality or technical defects; if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the University. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
