Contract A - Excavation Contract This project involves but is not limited to: one (1) sanitary sewer excavation spot repair, four (4) manhole installations, nineteen (19) manhole rehabs, invert/bench replacements, 3 pipe burst repairs (approximately 500 L.F. of 15" pipe bursting), and all traffic control and restoration of disturbed areas, complete in place. Contract B - MH to MH Lining Contract This project involves approximately seventeen (17) sanitary sewer MH-MH CIPP lining repairs (approximately 2,730 L.F.) including, but not limited to: sanitary sewer CIPP repair, pre and NASSCO compliant post-repair CCTV inspections, internal reinstatement of active service laterals, cutting of protruding taps, line cleaning, all traffic control and resident notification, complete in place. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are required to be paid on this Project Bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Municipality of Penn Hills, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten (10) percent of the total amount of the Proposal. Bids shall be valid for sixty (60) days beyond the time of bid opening. The Municipality of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all Proposals. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within ninety (90) calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as provided in Article 4 of the General Conditions, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Article 15 of the General Conditions within one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run or liquidated damages in the amount of five hundred dollars ($ 500.00) per calendar day. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price.
