Renovation of a water / sewer project in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The scope of work for Contract No. 24-E1 includes the complete installation of a replacement generator at the Centre Street Flood Pump Station (generator provided by the Owner) including: removal and disposal of existing generator; modification of the existing concrete pad; receipt, offloading, and placement of replacement generator; and all conduit, wiring, controls, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Interested parties may contact the Authority for access information prior to the date and time identified herein. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Authority. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Authority to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.
