Site work and renovation of a civil project in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

This project includes, but is not limited to, the following work at the Long Road Pump Station: installation of fixed vertical suction pipe for vac truck connection, replacement of a owner purchased Muffin Monster sewage grinder, and fabrication and installation of new stainless steel wet well gate; the following work at the Lincoln Road Pump Station: rehabilitation of the existing bar screen, removal and replacement of an existing 8" check valve purchased by the contractor on the pump discharge piping, and the rehabilitation of a gate valve handwheel; and the following work at the Plum Creek Sewage Treatment Plant: installation of vehicle bollards. Base Bid - Contract B This project includes, but is not limited to, undefined maintenance and repair work to be performed at Penn Hills WPCD facilities during 2025 and 2026. Bidders are advised that the Municipality will award the contract to the lowest qualified, responsible, and responsive bidder. However, the Bidder is advised that the Municipality expressly reserves the right to award to the lowest qualified, responsible, and responsive bidder for the type of work being considered a contract for all or any portions of the work listed in the Proposal, and in awarding a contract for less than the total work listed, or less than all portions of the work listed, the contract price will be determined from the total quantities for each item listed and the unit price bid for each item listed. Work will be performed on a hourly basis for labor and equipment and a cost plus fifteen (15%) percent basis for materials, complete in place.
