The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all operations to demolish certain existing elements and to construct all proposed Senior Center Parking Expansion improvements for the City of Sunrise as described and specified further in the Technical Specifications and as shown on the Contract Drawings. Generally, the proposed program elements are: Drainage improvements; pavement and ground plane surface treatments, such as colored and stamped concrete, concrete sidewalk, asphalt, and pavement markings; public art display area; Parking lot lighting and bollard lighting; landscape and irrigation improvements. The Contractor shall have any of the following: Florida Certified General Contractor's License or Florida Certified Building Contractor's License. The Contractor must have worked on at least five (5) projects of similar size, type, and complexity in the State of Florida within the last five (5) years. Where bidder proposes to subcontract any of the specialty tasks, submittals shall be made for qualified subcontractors as specified in the bid documents. The City shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the Qualification Requirement.
