The City of Benton Harbor is seeking bids to complete replacement of various lead/galvanized water services throughout the City of Benton Harbor. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or a Bid Bond, of a sum no less than 5 percent (5%) of the total bid amount, made payable to the City of Benton Harbor, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. The Bid Bond must cover the total amount bid on the number of requested zones by the Bidder. The project is scheduled to be fully completed no later than May 31, 2023. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the scheduled opening without consent of the OWNER.
