Site work for a water / sewer project in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project primarily consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following approximate quantities: - Reconstruction of 1,910 feet of 8-inch, 2,420 feet of 12-inch and 2,510 feet of 15-inch sanitary sewer including manholes and laterals. - Approximately 6,800 feet of road removal and reconstruction, including driveways. Work also includes, but is not limited to, incidental storm sewer removal and replacement, sewer lateral investigations, bypass pumping, maintenance of traffic, and restoration. Contractor shall furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work, which also includes testing and placing the systems in operation in compliance with the standards of these specifications. A Partial Notice to Proceed with only tree removal work will be issued upon receipt of Contractor's required bonds and insurance. All tree removals must be complete by March 31, 2022. A Notice to Proceed for all other work will be issued upon successful completion of financial arrangements with the State Revolving Fund, which is expected on or about April 8, 2022. Other than tree removal work, work on-site may not begin prior to April 18, 2022, must be substantially complete within 82 calendar days of starting work on site, and must be substantially complete no later than July 29, 2022
