Enquiries and any responses providing new information will be recorded and posted to BC Bid or otherwise distributed to prospective Bidders. A Tax Verification Letter means a letter issued by the Provinces Ministry of Finance to verify that the Quotation bidder meets its applicable British Columbia Provincial (Province) corporate income tax filing obligations and Province sales tax (PST) filing and payment obligations, which may be required to be produced by a bidder as a condition receiving a Purchase Order: If the successful bidder's Quotation is equal to or greater than $100,000 CAD, before a Purchase Order will be issued, the successful bidder will be required to provide the Province with a valid Tax Verification Letter issued by the Province's Ministry of Finance to verify that the successful bidder meets its applicable Province corporate income tax filing obligations and Province sales tax (PST) filing and payment obligations. If the successful bidder is not able to produce the required Tax Verification Letter within five (5) Province business days of the successful bidder being notified by the Province that the bidder is the successful bidder, then the Province will be entitled to disregard such bidder's Quotation and instead, in the Province's discretion, issue a Purchase Order to the bidder with the next lowest-priced compliant Quotation. That bidder will then be considered the successful bidder and will be subject to this Tax Verification Letter production requirement referenced above, failing which the Province reserves the right to repeat this process with the next ranked bidder(s) until the Tax Verification Letter requirement is satisfied.
