Design-build renovation and expansion of the Welland Transit facility. Scope of work to include: a bus storage addition (1,200 sq ft); a maintenance and stores addition (14,000 sq ft); new inspection pit; wash bay retrofit; bus storage building mechanical/electrical systems upgrades and building envelope upgrades; removal of underground diesel tanks and installation above ground; administrative office fit out (4,000 sq ft); and administration office renovation (2,800 sq ft); and new staff parking lot for 50 vehicles. TIMELINE: Project updates are not being released for publication. At this time, no tenders have been issued publicly. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time. *Budget has been set at $15 million.
