Renovation of a municipal facility in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The following specifications, together with the general conditions, work specification and proposal form the basis of this general contract. Contractors shall base their estimates on work to be done only as indicated in this SOW. General and sub-contractors shall assume certain related responsibilities regarding adjustments to surrounding work during the normal process of constructing improvements and repairs. The general scope of this project involves the following: (a) Removal of existing floor carpet covers and rubber coved base trims throughout an entire Training Room, Hallways and Corridors, Stairs, Lounge (Partial) and dispose off-site. (b) Clean and prepare floor areas where floor covers are removed, and installation of new floor covers, and rubber coved base trims as per drawings and specifications (c) Clean and prepare existing VCT floor surfaces for new floor cover overlay. Removal of all rubber coved base trims. Supply and install new floor cover, and rubber coved base trims as per drawings and specifications. (d) Removal of existing floor covers in two (2) stairwells and dispose off-site. Clean and prepare stairwell floor surfaces, treads and risers for new stair treads and floor cover installation. Install new stair treads and new floor covers. (e) Supply and install new: The Home Depot, Allure Plank, GripStrip Resilient, Plank Flooring, Style/Color: Dove Maple, Plank Size: 6" x 36", Model #: 87514. See: Product List Specifications (f) Supply and install stair treads Home Depot, Roppe, Light Duty Ribbed Design Charcoal 12 1/4 x 48" in Rubber Square Nose Stair. See: Product List Specifications (g) Supply and install Burke Flooring, 495, Royal Purple, RubberMyte-Type TP, 4" rubber coved base trim. (h) Following all complete installation, clean and wax all new floor cover surfaces. (i) Disposal of existing floor covers and base trim materials off-site. (j) Contractor shall provide all the necessary labor and materials for the removal, replacement, and installation of all materials as detailed and/or designated by Housing Authority of the County of Contra Costa (HACCC) in the drawings and work descriptions. (k) The demolition of all existing construction and installation of existing products and materials shall be completed according to contract schedule. Q/A Cutoff Date: 01/05/202219 Days Q/A Cutoff Time: 05:00 PM EST Approximate Delivery Date / Start Date: 02/14/2022 HACCC reserves the right to: 1 Reject any or all quotes, to waive any informalities in the QSP process, or to terminate the QSP process at any time, if deemed by HACCC to be in the best interest of HACCC; 2 Terminate a contract awarded pursuant to this QSP at any time for its convenience upon delivery of a 10-day written notice to the apparent or successful quoter; 3 Determine the days, hours, and locations that the successful quoter shall provide the items or services called for in this QSP; 4 Reject and not consider any quote that does not, in the opinion of the Purchasing Agent (PA), meet the requirements of this QSP, including but not necessarily limited to incomplete quotes offering alternate (not including "or equal" items) or non-requested items or services;
