Renovation of a municipal facility in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
** This project has been awarded to Centimark Corporation - Seattle in the amount of $49,723.** Furnish and install a snow retention system on the existing standing seam metal panel roof of the District Operations Center and Maintenance Building at the locations indicated on the attached figure. System shall be complete, in place, including all labor materials and equipment consisting ofS-5! ColorGard, clamps and clips manufactured by Garland, per attached cut sheets, or approved equal. The system shall be color matched to the existing roof and be installed without penetrating the roofing system. Contractor shall verify loading and field verify location, length and installation required and prepare a sketch along with proposed color for review and approval by District prior to fabrication and delivery. Compensation for this work will be paid per foot of installed snow dam. When the Contract does not include traffic control, erosion and sediment control, curb and concrete sidewalk, and trench safety systems as a pay item, then they shall be incidental to construction. Time of completion for initial work is 60 working days from the District's notice to proceed. All work shall be in accordance to the District's current Design Manual (including the Construction Specifications and Standard Drawings) and the description above. The District's Public Works Agreement is available upon request. A contract bond is required for projects over $50,000. The Contractor, and any subcontractors that may perform work on this project,are required to have their Labor & Industries Industrial Insurance Premiums current. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates for Clark County are applicable for this public works project. The effective date for prevailing wages or this project is thequote due date.
