***This project has been awarded to Koios Engineering, Inc. for the amount not to exceed $391,872, which includes a 10% contingency of $35,624. The construction is anticipated to begin in April of 2022. *** Scope of Work:The work to be done consists of, but is not limited to: a) Point (spot) repairs of 6-inch diameter, 8-inch diameter, and 10-inch diameter sanitary sewer at various locations. Please note that the work requires coordination with City and private property owners. b) Pipe-bursting (Method B) rehabilitation of approximately 40 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer main. c) Traditional Open-trench (Method C) replacement of approximately 20 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer main. d) Construction and rehabilitation of maintenance holes including excavation and relatedwork. e) Many of the works sites are located within City of Berkeley Fire Zone 2 and are subjected to restrictions imposed during the Red-Flag warnings. f) Many of the work sites are located on private properties with limited access. California Contractors License Required: A General Engineering. Or C-34 Pipeline, or C-42 Sanitation System. Estimate: $420,000
