Renovation of a municipal facility in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities Field Operations (UFO) office needs emergency stand-by power for numerous buildings at the site. The emergency stand-by power will come from an existing Caterpillar C18 diesel generator. This generator will need to be transported from Muddy Creek wastewater treatment plant to UFO. The purpose of this project is to give UFO emergency stand-by power that provides electricity to the selected buildings at the site in the event of an outage. The scope of this project will include the installation of the generator and automatic transfer switch to an existing system. The selected engineering firm will provide all designs and documents necessary for permitting, construction and bidding. The selected firm will also provide construction administration. All questions concerning this request for Letters of Interest or the scope of this work should be directed to Jordan Toney: jordant@cityofws.org. Questions will be accepted through 5:00 PM, January 21, 2022. Firms submitting Letters of Interest are encouraged to carefully check them for conformance to the requirements stated above. If Letters of Interest do not meet these requirements, they will be disqualified. No exceptions will be granted. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
