Suwannee County is accepting bids for the clearing and grubbing of a 10 +/- acre tract located on Hwy 129 approximately 1/2 mile north of I-10. The project consists of providing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, etc., necessary for the clearing and grubbing (removal and disposal) of all tree debris, stumps, brush, roots, shrubs, vegetation, logs, rubbish, and other objectionable material obtain burn permit, burn all debris on site, or haul debris from site. Contractor shall comply with all federal, state, and local regulations. Existing trees will be harvested under separate contract prior to clearing and grubbing. Once a contract has been awarded and a Notice to Proceed has been issued, contractor will have sixty (60) days to complete all clearing and grubbing. Any questions concerning specifications and/or bid documents should be directed to Randy Harris, County Administration, (386) 364-3400. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities and re-advertise and award the bid in the best interest of Suwannee County.
