A. This section includes general descriptions of the Contractor use of site, location of work, description of work, work sequence, owner occupancy, and work by others. B. The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles and for furnishing all transportation and services, including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and for the performance of all labor, work, or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally so specified or shown, at no increase in cost to the Owner. Pine Island Road, Davie, FL. Included in the project scope is the demolition of existing natural grass fields, removal of sidewalks, bleachers, site furnishings, irrigation, and modifications to catch basins. Also included in the project scope is the installation of new concrete sidewalks and curbing, installation of sports netting, a press box and scoreboards, as well as the installation of two artificial turf fields with lines for soccer, lacrosse and flag football. The scope also includes the relocation of several trees, a backflow preventer and electrical conduit. Potential bidders must be a State of Florida Licensed General Contractor and a Certified Synthetic Turf Installer or have a Certified Synthetic Turf Installer as the sub contractor. The estimated budget for this project is 3,000,000.
