Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Davie, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a service station / car wash facility; for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility; and office development.
This project seeks to expand the existing fleet building located at 6915 Orange Drive. The new features of the building will include another bay area to accommodate large vehicles (fire truck), converting the existing office space to additional covered workspace space to accommodate more vehicles, and an office will be added to the building. The covered area will provide a safer environment for staff to address mechanical issues concerning the Town's fleet and store vehicles so that they are not impacted by the weather elements. As of January 7, 2021, this project is included in the city's 2022-2031 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed.
