Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Davie, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project includes upgrading SW 136th Avenue from a 2-lane configuration to a 4-lane divided collector with turn lanes and bicycle accommodation from Shenandoah (SW 5th) to SW 14th Street to be consistent with the existing roadway between SW 6th Court and State Road 84. Existing drainage facilities will be modified, and new drainage facilities will be added. Road construction, milling, resurfacing and new pavement markings and signage, sidewalks, curbing, and curb ramps are included. The project will also enhance lighting at the roundabout. As of March 28, 2024, this project is included in the Town of Davie's Fiscal Year 2023-2037 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) an funding is allotted for construction in FY 2026. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
