Renovation of a water / sewer project in Walden, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife is accepting documented quotes (DQ) for installation of an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System and Dump Facility at State Forest State Park near Walden, CO. This project will install an Onsite Wastewater Treatment Facility in an open area adjacent to existing dump facility, at a location staked by the Project Manager. The work includes installation of an Onsite Wastewater Treatment Facility, concrete islands, water line, water hydrants, waste dumps, excavation and preparation of the site, installation of road, backfill, site grading, seeding, and cleanup. Prospective bidders shall include all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform the work in accordance with the plans and specifications presented in this request for DQs. There will be no job show for this DQ. Contractors may visit the site on their own schedule to observe site conditions. The site is located off of CO-14 between Gould and Walden on County Road 41 between the North Park Campground and the Maintenance Shop. The proposed building location is relatively flat and accessible. Questions related to this project shall be sent via e-mail to the Project Manager at eric.blake@state.co.us. The deadline for questions is Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 10:00 am (MDT). Questions submitted after the deadline will not be addressed. All questions and responses will be posted on the Colorado VSS web site. The work shall be completed 90 days after the Notice to Proceed.
