Renovation of a municipal facility in Walden, Colorado. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Jackson County is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the construction/remodeling of the second floor of the Jackson County Courthouse. The project includes the addition of a two-barrier entry system with secure doors, safety glass, and a designated waiting area. The selected prime contractor will be responsible for all components of final design, supply, civil work, and installation. Proposals must address the installation of 4 solid doors and one solid metal door, a new wall the width of the entryway with one door in this wall, a customer window with safety glass in a current wall, removal of two doors and sealing up of walls to secure the former doorways, and a lockable gate or method to secure the second and third floors (listed as an add-on option). Vendors must ensure the project maintains the historical integrity of the building. Proposals must include technical description, schedule, pricing, and references.
