Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Shawnee, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project includes curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, inlet repair/replacement, full depth asphalt patching, pavement markings, and milling and asphalt overlay. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in bids. The Bidder to whom the work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a two (2) year Maintenance Bond to the Owner in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the amount of the Contract so awarded in each case. In addition, the Bidder shall furnish also a Statutory Bond in an amount equal to one hundred (100) percent of the Contract price If you have questions regarding the bid documents or for project information, please call the Kenny Khongmaly with the Public Works Department at (913) 433- 1918. Each Bidder shall upload and/or file with their bid a cashiers check, certified check, or bid bond drawn on an acceptable bank in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid Bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders, with the exception of the second qualifying bidder, at such time as their bids are rejected.
