Public Notice SIDNEY CIRCLE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS RICHLAND COUNTY, MONTANA NOTICE IS GIVEN that Richland County, Montana will receive separate The work generally consists of: 1. Base Bid: a. The work generally consists of approximately 22,821 SY of street reconstruction; including, Removal of existing asphalt and curb & gutter, Removal of existing road base, 11,347 LF Curb & Gutter, 20,300 SY Asphalt Paving, Geotextile, Geogrid, Crushed Base, 1,190 SF Concrete Valley Gutters, 3,562 SF Concrete Curb Returns, 4,800 SF of Concrete Driveway Installation, multiple Manhole and Gate Valve adjustments. The work will also include approximately 570 LF of 12 Storm Sewer, 4 Storm Water Manholes, 2 Curb Inlets, and 120 LF of Concrete Arch Culvert, and 230 LF of various sized of CMP culvert. The contract may be awarded based on the OWNER's best interests. The award will be based on the lowest cost combination of responsive, responsible bids on the Base Bid and Additive Alternate selected by the OWNER. Contract Time: 1. Base Bid: a. All construction schedules shall be shall be substantially complete and ready for OWNER's use and pre-final inspection within 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. b. All construction schedules shall be finally complete and ready for final payment within (30) calendar days of Substantial Completion. Liquidated Damages: 1. The CONTRACTOR shall pay the OWNER $1,750.00 for each day or part of a day that expires after the time specified for Substantial Completion of any construction schedule(s) until the Work is substantially complete. CONTRACTOR is required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project and all laborers and mechanics employed by the CONTRACTOR or Subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as required by the Laws of the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The bid bond, a copy of the CONTRACTORs license or certificate of renewal, and applicable funding requirement forms shall be included with each bid of proposal. All bids must be sealed. No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to Bond and Licenses, and any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. The OWNER reserves the right to hold all bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days and to hold the three low bids and bid securities for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the bid opening. The OWNER may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of these periods, waive any informality in any bid, and to reject the bid of any party who has been delinquent or unfaithful in the performance of any former contract with the OWNER.
