Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following: 1,875 LF of sanitary sewer and laterals (6" thru 8" PVC) along with associated sanitary sewer work; 1,175 L.F. of water main (6" thru 8" PVC) and services; 150 LF of storm sewer (12" thru 18" RCP) and associated storm structure work; 4,125 S.Y. aggregate base and geogrid installation; 1,000 S.Y. topsoil and sodding; 55 TON of asphalt pavement; 3,125 S.Y. of concrete pavement; 10,550 S.F. of concrete sidewalk; 2,125 L.F. concrete curb and gutter; 2,950 S.F. concrete driveway approach; as well as all related work including unclassified excavation, erosion control, and traffic control. As of 02/09/2022 This project has been awarded to Ptaschinski Construction Inc in the amount of $1,328,237.35. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with Federal Davis Bacon Wage Rates. Federal wage rates can be found at online. Be aware that project Administrators, Bidders, and Contractors are required to use the latest federal wage rate available at the time of bid opening. This project anticipates use of Wisconsin DNR Safe Drinking Water Loan Program OR Clean Water Fund Program funding. A municipality, in awarding prime contracts, and the primary engineer and primary contractor, in awarding subcontractors, are required to make a good faith effort to achieve a combined minimum goal of 15% participation for MBE/WBE utilization in accordance with s.NR 162.09(3), s.NR 166.12(4), and s.NR 167.18(4) Wis. Admin. Code. If a subcontractor awards subcontracts, these requirements shall apply to the subcontractor. The Contractor shall conform to the "Use of American Iron and Steel" provision of H.R. 3547 Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014, section 436, including all iron and steel products used in the project. Bid Proposals may be denied if the requirements of this section are not met and waivers are required.
