Estimated Cost Range: $550,000 - $750,000 Liquidated Damages: $500/day Question Cutoff Date changed from 2/3/2022 02:00:00 PM (PT) to 2/3/2022 05:00:00 PM 2/3/2022 08:00:00 PM (ET) Questions Due Date 2/10/2022 08:00:00 PM (ET) Answers Due Date Completion of Work: Subject to change by Owner, Work is scheduled to begin on March 14, 2022 and shall be fully complete by July 8, 2022. Required Insurance if Awarded: Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Contractor's Pollution Liability, Workers Compensation, and Builders Risk Insurance will be required. Please refer to the TEMPLATE-Owner-Contractor Construction Agreement on the Attachments tab for limits and additional information. Description of Work: Convert current Faculty Locker Room to dedicated space for the women's swim/dive team. Expand the existing public use restroom and shower area, adding fixtures to make the building fixture count code compliant. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Project Notes: 1. Project consists of (3) scopes to completed concurrently. Pricing for each scope needs to be bid separately. 2. No new square footage is added as a part of this project. 3. Abatement, including the removal of materials containing asbestos and lead, is required as part of this project. See third party asbestos and lead abatement plan and specifications by "Converse". In case of any discrepancies between the project drawings/ specifications and Converse package, Converse package shall govern. General contractor and abatement contractor to inform A&E consultants, Converse and UNR project managers. 4. Existing Fire Alarm system to be a deferred submittal. Project Description: Scope 1 - Women's Swim and Dive Team Locker Room Renovation ONLY. Area of work will include (102A) the existing Faculty Locker Room and showers and (101A) an office currently used by Student Services. Existing walls will be removed to accommodate the new layout. Area will receive new finishes, ceiling, light fixtures, and plumbing fixtures. Plumbing fixture count in this area to remain the same. Scope 2 - All remaining work in this project are part of this scope. Renovation work as part of this scope to include (103 and 104) the Women's Locker, (103D) Women's Shower, and (101) Student Services Equipment Room. These rooms are to be reconstructed for ADA compliance. Existing walls will be removed to accommodate the new layout. Area will receive new finishes, ceiling, light fixtures, and plumbing fixtures. Plumbing fixture count in this area will increase. Segments of adjacent corridors will also be receiving new finishes. Scope 3 - Mechanical Ducting per CRE coordination with Facilities. ALL Renovated areas may have HVAC modifications, HVAC is limited to new duct work and required upgrades. No main HVAC component upgrades. Due to various funding sources for the project, please note that 25% of the total construction budget should be distributed to the HVAC upgrade portion of the work.
