Renovation of an educational facility in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Structural wall to roof connection improvements are required, as well as a new roofing assembly (insulation and membrane) will be installed along with new mechanical units. In order for this work to be completed the existing roofing and insulation shall be removed which requires the rerouting and/or replacement of the surface electrical, communications conduit and the existing gas lines. There will be some inside work required to improve structural connections at existing steel columns and beams. In addition, the height of the existing concrete chimney will be reduced by approximately twenty (20) feet. Asbestos and lead abatement is a large component of the work. Please refer to the Meeting ID and Password information for access into the meeting. Once you JOIN the meeting, you will be admitted into a waiting room and then allowed into the meeting by the Host. We want to be sensitive to current social distancing guidelines and propose that all interested parties meet in front of the Office and they MUST have a face covering to enter any District facility. A Capital Projects representative will make the site available to walk/investigate the affected areas.
