Contract to provide Preventative Maintenance of Elevators for Department of Education & Early Childhood Development (EECD) Educational Facilities & Transportation NB through all schools listed in Appendix I of the attached specifications for a period of one (1) year, from April 01, 2022 to March 31, 2023 with the option to renew for four (4) additional one (1) year period in one (1) year increment upon written agreement of both parties. Pricing shall be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index. If a vendor chooses not to accept the option year, GNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the items in question. The Department of Education & Early Childhood Development reserves the right to add/delete devices during the term of the contract if deemed necessary by EECD. Due to COVID-19 and prior to award, bid securities in the amount of 10% of the first year price will be REQUIRED as follows: EITHER; A bid bond in favour of Her Majesty the Queen, in Right of the Province of New Brunswick as represented herein by the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development OR A certified check payable to the "Minister of Finance" ontract will be awarded to the lowest compliant bid based on the LUMP SUM PRICE for the initial 1st year. (The Contrator's Parts Markup, and the Call in services prices will be carried forward to the purchase order, and must remain firm for all potential contract periods, but will not be a part of tender the evaluation.) Vendors are required to submit a bid on every item listed below. Submission of a bid must confirm that the equipment has been examined, that the work required is fully understood, and that the bidder has the experience, qualifications, licenses, special tools, technical information and parts necessary to perform the work. Proponents should bid directly on this invitation to tender. The price shall not include HST. Successful proponent will be required to provide proof of all insurances within seven (7) days of contract award.
