Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 95,835-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of July 14, 2022, construction is underway and all trades have been awarded. For the new construction of the K-1 Elementary School located in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Construction will be bid for the following Prime Contracts: Contract No. 1: General Construction Contract No. 3: Electrical Construction Contract No. 2: HVAC Construction Contract No. 4: Plumbing Construction. The Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, 43 P.S. 165-1 et seq., and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to each Project as promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry. TOTAL BUILDING AREA : 94,912 SF 2940 MACARTHUR ROAD WHITEHALL, PA 18052 The project is a new two-story building of roughly 95,835 SF. It is located at 2940 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA, 18052. It is a phased project to be completed in 27 months. The construction includes but is not limited to the following: Demolition of the existing District Administration building, storage buildings and associated site work. Construction of the new elementary school including parking lots, sidewalks, utility work, and other associated sitework and improvements. Environmental abatement of the administration building will be done by the Owner.
