The design review includes, but is not limited to the following: Design and Specifications prepared by Entutive Corporation. The successful bidder will review the complex structural steel shoring, complete with complex load and deflection- engineered jacking system, jacking plan and monitoring plans, for the temporary support of the existing Centre Block building. review the design to ensure the building/structure vertical and lateral movements are maintained within specified tolerances (3mm differential displacement). Ensure that the design from the pile designer (separate subcontractor) has been adequately incorporated into the overall scope of the shoring. This includes the steel crossbracing between the new piles. Third Party review and reporting as set out in 02 03 50 - DRAFT Temporary Support of Existing Structural Elements for Load Transfer at 1.06. This work also takes place around the Peace Tower and connecting to an existing open pit excavation (that is currently being dug and may finish simultaneously.) This is a Unit Price tender for the scope of work. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a Unit Price Services Agreement with the Construction Manager. The offer will be good for the duration of the above scope of work. The independent 3rd party peer reviewer to allow for sequential design review as it is issued by Entuitive (LSSE). LSSE is the Lead Specialty Structural Engineer. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
