The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (Borough) is requesting quotes to replace the existing Hazmat Hazardous Waste (HHW)/Admin swing arm gate with a Slide Gate and Operator. Questions Due Date: Feb 3rd 2022, 5:00 PM AKST The current swing arm gate was severely damaged during the wind storm event in January 2022. The new gate shall be a slide gate with motor operator, LiftMaster Model SL570-100-21-G or approved equal. A. Remove existing operator and gate. B. Pour new pad with NSF fill for the slide gate operator. C. Properly size and install new slide gate and required appurtenances. D. Install operator. E. Make all electrical connections. E. Adjust system so that slide gate operators work smoothly. G. Provide twelve (12) remote control operators for gate.
