The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide and install a new chain link fence to be installed at the Butte Transfer Station. New fencing will be installed starting at the existing fence post located at "Point A", and then run on the staked line approximately 1,500-feet and tying to the existing gate at the entrance. The fence then will start at the other side of the gate and run approximately 850-feet on the staked line and ending at point B. Substantial Completion is set at June 15, 2022, with Final Completion of June 30, 2022 April of 2022 (Award of Bid) May, 2022 (Construction Start) June 30th of 2022 (Construction Completion) Any bid exceeding $50,000 for total of all base items and alternates shall be accompanied by a certified check, money order, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of at least 5% of the total Base Bid amount, made payable to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Palmer, Alaska, with good and sufficient surety or sureties acceptable to the Borough.
