The Work consists of the installation of an HVAC Air Conditioning Systems as generally shown on the drawings and described herein complete with all equipment, controls, venting, valves, hangers, insulation, piping, connections, fittings, electrical circuits, etc as needed and typically required for code compliance and such work Sealed Bids are invited for General Contract for the Work of following project. Bidders must be licensed per state law. Five percent (5%) Bid Security is required. Bid Security shall be in the form of a cashier's check, Bank check, or Bid Bond (no personal/company checks accepted) subject to the conditions provided in the instructions to bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract amount, each bond. The term "Successful Bidder" means the lowest qualified, responsible Bidder to whom the Owner (on the basis of Owner's evaluation as hereinafter provided) makes an award. The Owner reserves the right; to reject proposals of any bidder who does not meet the qualifications of having adequate capital, equipment, and organization to undertake the Work; to reject proposals that contain any omissions, alteration, condition, or limitation, or that show any other irregularity of any kind; to accept any bid, whether or not the lowest, or to reject any or all bids as the interest of the Owner may appear to require. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids as deemed in the best interest of the Owner. In the event all bids are rejected, the project may be re-advertised.
