The owner will construct the project and it will not go out to bids for a general contractor. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Sparta, Tennessee, is seeking qualified landscape architects or firms to provide design services for the development of a new splash pad park. This project aims to enhance recreational opportunities and community engagement by creating a vibrant and accessible space that includes a splash pad, pavilion, amphitheater, and restroom facilities. The city invites experienced professionals to submit their qualifications for consideration. The selected landscape architect or firm will be responsible for the comprehensive design of the new splash pad park. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Conceptual design and site planning for the entire park layout. 2. Detailed design of the splash pad, incorporating interactive water features and safety considerations. 3. Design of a multipurpose pavilion for gatherings, events, and shade. 4. Amphitheater design to accommodate various performances and activities. 5. Restroom facilities design that meets accessibility and aesthetic standards. 6. Landscape design, including planting, hardscape, pathways, seating areas, and lighting. 7. Integration of sustainable and environmentally-friendly design principles. 8. Compliance with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Respondents will be evaluated on the basis of the submitted materials and according to the factors described below.
